I don't watch much television because, in the UK at least, most of it is complete dross. We could spend hour after mind-numbing hour watching so-called celebrities with flagging careers doing ridiculous things in even more ridiculous places. Yawn. We could watch more house/garden makeovers than any human could cope with. And, of course, it seems we're a nation that can't go above an hour without seeing a 'celebrity' chef on our screens.
So what have I been watching lately? Well, not a lot. I've seen Mastermind and University Challenge (have to exercise the grey matter), Dexter, re-runs of The Lakes, Clocking Off and a couple of one-off dramas. And that's about it.
However, the seventh series of Waking the Dead starts on 14th April so I'm hoping for great things. Fans of the series can watch a clip here.
